Brandon J. Evans elected Board Member for Young Lawyers Division of Wisconsin State Bar

Brandon J. Evans has been elected to serve on the board of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Wisconsin.  Brandon was one of ten lawyers running for five open spots on the board.  His term begins in July 2012 and concludes in June 2014.  The Young Lawyers Division has two primary objectives:  to assist young and new lawyers in the practice of law and involve them in public service.  The division also holds a seat on the State Bar Board of Governors and makes recommendations on issues affecting the practice of law and the administration of justice, particularly on how these issues relate to young and new lawyers.

Laura Katers Reilly elected management co-chair of U.P. Labor-Management Council

Laura Katers Reilly has been elected management co-chair of the U.P. Labor-Management Council.  The Council is comprised of management and labor representatives from the private and public sectors across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Since 1971, the Council has sought to promote positive labor-management relations in the U.P. through conferences, activities, and other initiatives.  For more information on the U.P.
