Laura K. Reilly presented on Michigan's "Right-to-Work" laws to U.P. human resources associations
Laura K. Reilly recently presented "How Does Michigan's 'Right to Work' Work?: A Practical Guide for Employers" to the quarterly meeting of the Superior Chapter of Human Resource Professionals (SCHRP) and Upper Peninsula Human Resources Association (UPHRA), held at Northern Michigan University. Setting aside political rhetoric, the purpose of Laura's talk was to give attendees a working knowledge of how these new labor laws function in the workplace, from contract administration and dues collection to labor-management relationships. SCHRP and UPHRA are associations of human resource professionals in the Upper Peninsula which aim to foster professional development and fellowship.
