Stephen F. Adamini Retires from Practice
A longtime shareholder of the firm, Stephen F. Adamini, has retired from active law practice as of December 31, 2014. Steve will continue in an Of Counsel role to transition matters to other attorneys at the firm and serve in an advisory role.
Steve had been practicing law in Marquette County since 1970, a majority of that time in private practice at Kendricks, Bordeau and as a title search attorney at the firm's title insurance company, Superior Title Insurance Agency. Steve is known as one of the preeminent real estate attorneys in the region.
Steve is a Negaunee native and a graduate of Negaunee High School. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan. Steve has long been active in local and state civic affairs, previously serving as a member of the Michigan Transportation Commission, Marquette County Airport Board, and as chair of the Alger-Marquette Community Mental Health Board.
From 2000 to 2006, Steve served as the State Representative for the 109th District where he was a member of the Judiciary, Health Policy and Transportation Committees. He also served on the Michigan Law Revision Commission. After his service in the state legislature, Steve returned to full-time law practice with the firm and title work at Superior Title. Most recently, Steve served as civil counsel for the County of Marquette.
