Rachel grew up in Gwinn, Michigan, and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Studies and French from Northern Michigan University in 2018. In 2020, she relocated to Massachusetts to attend the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she was actively involved in the law school community. She served as President of the International Law Students Association, Vice President of the National Lawyers Guild chapter, Co-Captain of the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team, and Class Senator with the Student Bar Association.

Rachel earned her Juris Doctor in 2023 and began her legal career with the United States Attorney’s Office in Boston, working in the Criminal Division’s Appellate Unit. While there, she assisted in drafting appellate briefs and motions before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Missing family, friends, and the Upper Peninsula’s stunning natural beauty, Rachel made the decision to return to the Marquette area and is excited to serve the community she holds closest to her heart.
