Laura Katers Reilly elected Treasurer of Shiras Institute

Laura Katers Reilly has been elected Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Shiras Institute. Laura has served on the Board of Trustees of the Shiras Institute since 2011. The Shiras Institute is a philanthropic endowment created September 20, 1937, by George Shiras III and his wife Frances as a gift to the city of Marquette and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In accordance with this original indenture, over the years the Shiras Institute has partnered with local schools and other organizations to fund projects designed to enhance quality of life for the citizens of Marquette and surrounding communities.
