Kaila E. McCormack
Kaila spent time in Marquette visiting her grandparents throughout her childhood and fell in love with the town, so she jumped at the first opportunity to move to the area. Kaila received her undergraduate degree in International Studies and Law, Justice, and Social Change from the University of Michigan. During her time there, she participated in the Michigan in Washington Program, served as a legislative intern at the United States House of Representatives, worked as lead campus organizer for the Equality Votes Campaign, and was a member of the Central Student Government’s Government Relations Committee. She earned her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, where she was a member of the Family Law Society and the Women’s Law Caucus. During her law school summers, she worked in Marquette as an intern with Kendricks Bordeau, P.C. and returned upon graduation.
